Benedetta Pompili (b. 1995, Pesaro, Italy) is an interdisciplinary designer based in The Netherlands. Her practice focuses on material research and product design. A dedication for diving into matter and the techniques entangled around it distincts her work.  She rethinks making processes and plays with common beliefs and habits to magnify overlooked viewpoints.

In 2018, Benedetta graduated with a bachelor degree in Industrial Design and Ceramics from ISIA Faenza, a small school in the heart of Italy where she started discovering the practical fundaments of the discipline. During her experience at Chiara Andreatti Studio, she further realised her interest on materials, industrial and craft techniques. Feeling the need for seeing design through a different lens, in 2019 Benedetta applied for the Social Design master course at Design Academy Eindhoven and moved to The Netherlands. In 2021, she graduated with a nomination for the Gijs Bakker Award.

She is a sunday morning EKWC (European Keramik Work Center) alumna, where she realised the project Conversing with Matter. Her works have been displayed at MU Hybrid Art House and Cor Unum Ceramics, among others.
