Benedetta Pompili (IT, 1995) is a social designer and ceramic researcher based in Amsterdam. A dedication to materials and their narratives with a focus on the environmental impact identifies her practice. She rethinks making techniques and their aesthetics toward sustainable production. Her research aims to spread knowledge, motivate care, and retrace tradition by thinking and acting intersectionally.

She is among the recipients of the Stimuleringsfonds Building Talent Grant and a Tech Fellow in the Ceramic at the Rijksakademie van beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
In 2018, she graduated with honours with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Ceramics from ISIA Faenza. Urging to approach making through an environmental and conceptual lens, in 2019 she attended the Social Design Master's at Design Academy Eindhoven. In 2021, she graduated with a nomination for the Gijs Bakker Award.

She was a resident at Sunday Morning EKWC (European Keramik Work Center). Her works have been displayed at MU Hybrid Art House (NL), Design Museum Gent (BE), and Alcova (IT), among others.
